I love Halloween because its the only time of year that we can go crazy with our imagination! Making my own DIY costume is perfect because I can make it specifically to my specifications and create some that I am proud of. The great thing about these costumes is they are very easy to make but it looks like you spent a fortune. I remember one year I wanted to get a fancy costume for a medieval princess but then I saw the price tag and decided to make something on my own. It was so much fun and rewarding and when people complimented me on my costume it brought a huge smile to my face. Thrift stores are your best friend for finding items for making your costume.
